Diagramming that stays close to the source

Mermaid turns maintainable text into diagrams. Mermind brings that workflow into a native Apple-platform workspace, so a flowchart, sequence diagram, state diagram, ER diagram, Gantt chart, mind map, timeline, Git graph, or architecture diagram can stay easy to edit and version.

Source, preview, and canvas

Choose the workspace that fits the diagram in front of you:

  • Preview pairs Mermaid source with a live rendered diagram.
  • Bidirectional keeps source beside an editable Flowchart structure canvas.
  • Canvas gives supported Flowcharts more room for visual editing.

For supported Flowcharts, changes to nodes and connections update Mermaid source, while source selections can locate the related canvas element. When syntax is too complex to round-trip safely, Mermind keeps the source intact and makes the canvas read-only instead of risking a destructive rewrite.

A library, not a pile of files

Create folders, search projects, move diagrams with drag and drop, and keep recent work close at hand. Automatic saving can protect active edits, while version history lets you compare and recover earlier content.

Optional iCloud Drive sync keeps the library available across iPad and Mac. If iCloud creates conflicting versions, Mermind can compare them and offers choices to keep the current version, use the conflicting version, preserve both, or merge manually.

Local rendering and optional on-device intelligence

Mermaid rendering and core editing use bundled local resources, so the central diagram workflow works offline without an account or remote rendering service. On supported systems, Apple Intelligence can propose a project name from the current Mermaid source; the model runs on the device, and manual naming remains available everywhere.

Export for the next part of your workflow

Export Mermaid text for source control and continued editing, PNG for documents and presentations, or SVG for scalable web and design workflows.

Designed for iPad and Mac

Mermind requires iPadOS 17.0 or later and also runs on Mac through Mac Catalyst. The interface, editor, canvas, project library, settings, export, version history, and iCloud conflict flows are localized across 12 app languages.
